Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring cashiers for a fast-paced environment where accuracy and friendly service matter. You will assist customers, ring up sales, and help with daily deli and store operations. Training is provided if you have no prior experience.

This position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and flexibility to cover shifts, with opportunities for growth within a long-standing family-owned company. Benefits and competitive pay accompany your role in a welcoming team.

Responsibilities

• Provide general customer service, help customers locate items and answer questions.
• Balance cash register transactions and upsell opportunities while following state and local laws.
• Use various methods and technologies to ensure proper food safety for fresh food and deli items.
• Clean and maintain your work area, sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and complete trash runs.
• Cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, or leadership roles as needed.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
