Job summary

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking friendly cashiers to join a fast-paced retail team. In this role you will deliver quick, accurate service, help customers locate items, and represent the company with a welcoming attitude.

You may balance a cash register, maintain food safety for deli items, clean work areas and pumps, and potentially cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, or maintenance. Training is provided, and experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
