Job summary

Dollar Tree in Yuba City, CA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and provide a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, process transactions, keep shelves stocked, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

The role emphasizes friendly customer interactions, teamwork, and adherence to store policies. This is a part-time position located on-site at our Yuba City store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking and standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, and common areas.
