Job summary

Dollar Tree in Savoy, IL is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the cash register, and help keep the store stocked and presentable.

This role requires strong customer service and communication skills, physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs, follow instructions, and work as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment. Part-time opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, including restrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
