Family Dollar in Gooding, Idaho is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide friendly, efficient service at the checkout and help customers with questions and product recommendations.

You will handle sales transactions, maintain cash security, stock shelves, unload shipments, and keep the store clean and presentable while following store policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/customer service experience in relevant settings preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
