Job summary

Roses is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide friendly, helpful service to shoppers at our Madison, NC location. You will greet customers, help with merchandise choices, complete transactions, and answer store questions.

Responsibilities include stocking shelves, unloading freight, and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor while ensuring accuracy in POS transactions and customer safety. Flexible availability is helpful for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store environments.
• Physical Requirements: Lift up to 40lbs regularly; up to 55 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner.
• Maintains a clean, well-stocked store for customers during shopping.
• Unloads merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise and transports from stockroom to sales floor.
• Independently stocks shelves and recovers merchandise in the store.
• Accurately handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system.
• Maintains safety by staying aware of customer activity in the store.
• Performs other duties to maintain effective and profitable store operation.
