Job summary

Walgreens is hiring for a customer service/retail associate to provide courteous checkout service and assist customers with products and services. You will greet customers, answer questions, and resolve issues to ensure a positive shopping experience.

You will also handle sales on the register, stock displays, process returns, and help maintain a clean, organized store environment with adherence to policies. Evening and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens.

Responsibilities

• Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service.
• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Recommends items for sale and performs suggestive selling.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and merchandised, handles inventory and pricing as directed.
• Performs store duties such as refunds, returns, exchanges, and rain checks as needed.
• Assists with exterior and interior maintenance and adheres to company policies.
