Job summary

Walgreens is hiring in Chicago for a customer-focused associate to help deliver a distinctive shopping experience. You will greet customers, assist with products and services, and process transactions at the register with accuracy and courtesy.

You will also stock shelves, maintain clean displays, handle returns, and support the photo area and web-order pickup. A flexible schedule including evenings/weekends is required; retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide assistance with products and services.
• Models and delivers courteous, fair, and efficient checkout service at the register.
• Process purchases, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; price items as directed.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service and poster print.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance and stock rotation.
• Support web pick-up duties (monitor orders, fill items, and deliver to customers).
• Comply with company policies and procedures; maintain respectful coworker relationships.
