Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to operate a variety of equipment including cash registers or scanners.
• Ability to work as scheduled including arriving on time.
• Ability to communicate information clearly.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.

Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, courteous customer service and greets customers as they enter.
• Rings up sales accurately and handles cash and other payments.
• Maintains store cleanliness and performs general housekeeping duties.
• Receives and verifies vendor deliveries and maintains stock levels.
• Monitors inventory, performs shift audits and controls cash loss.
