Job summary

Kroger in Wisconsin is seeking an associate to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a safe, clean store environment. You will assist the department manager in meeting sales and profit goals and model Kroger's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, answering questions, stocking, labeling, checking dates, and following food safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates with a positive attitude.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers and respond to questions about products.
• Gain knowledge of department products and make product recommendations.
• Check product quality, review sell-by dates, and take action as needed.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Follow food safety regulations and maintain temperatures and logs.
• Notify management of safety risks or issues and report accidents.
