Job summary

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommends items for sale and trade-up/companion items.
• Registers customer purchases on assigned cash register, processes cash, refunds, and exchanges.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, checks in and prices merchandise.
• Implements asset protection procedures to minimize loss.
• Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcohol, tobacco).
• Constructs displays and completes resets and revisions as directed.
• Assists with separation of food items and stock rotation using FIFO.
• Has working knowledge of store systems and store equipment.
• Provides customer service in the photo area (passport photos, print services).
• Assumes web pick-up responsibilities (fills orders, delivers to customers).
• Assists with exterior/internal maintenance and maintains store condition.
• Complies with company policies and maintains coworker relationships.
• Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
