Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC. is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Wilkesboro, NC to help customers and maintain a well-organized store environment. You’ll engage with shoppers, answer questions, and suggest products to create a positive shopping experience.

You will ring up sales, handle merchandise unloads, stock shelves, and keep aisles clean and safe. A strong team attitude and reliable attendance help you excel and grow with the company in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail or similar environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Lifts 30–50 lbs; stands, walks, and performs repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including restrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
