Job summary

Dollar Tree is hiring a Customer Service Associate in West Deptford, NJ for a part-time role. You will assist customers, process sales at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

You will also unload shipments and support stock replenishment while maintaining a safe and friendly shopping environment. The position requires strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
