Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to provide a positive shopping experience in Westville, New Jersey. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help maintain stock and store cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail or service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and frequent walking/standing.
• Strong customer service and relationship skills.
• Solid organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash disposal, and neat presentation.
