Job summary

Dollar Tree in Smithfield, Utah is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer.

The role involves assisting customers, handling transactions, keeping shelves stocked, unloading shipments, and maintaining a clean, safe store. You will interact with customers and leaders in a friendly, professional manner while supporting daily store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or related fields preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform store tasks requiring walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including bathrooms and floors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
