Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Crawfordsville, IN is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a positive shopping experience for every guest. You will assist customers with questions, handle transactions at the register, restock merchandise, and maintain store cleanliness and safety throughout your shift.

Responsibilities include unloading truck merchandise, stocking shelves, protecting cash, and upholding friendly interactions with customers and team members while supporting daily

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms; sweeping and mopping floors; take out trash; keep areas neat and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned.
