Job summary

Walgreens is hiring at one of its California stores to deliver friendly, efficient customer service. You will greet customers, assist with product questions, operate the cash register, handle payments, returns, and exchanges, and keep the store neat and stocked.

The role supports photo services and online order pickups, with an emphasis on safety, policy compliance, and teamwork. Training and weekend availability are expected.

Qualifications

• Fluent English reading, writing and speaking.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and patients with greeting and assistance to ensure a positive experience.
• Register sales, operate cash register, process payments and exchanges as needed.
• Provide courteous, fair and efficient checkout service.
• Maintain clean, merchandised counters and shelves; assist with stock rotation.
• Assist with photo area services and web order pickup responsibilities.
• Support store safety, policy compliance and teamwork with coworkers.
• Participate in training and adhere to company procedures.
