Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a customer-focused associate in California to deliver a distinctive, friendly shopping experience at the checkout and across the store. You will help customers, stock and merchandise, and support digital order pickup and photo services as part of a busy retail team.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends, prior retail exposure, and a positive attitude toward customer service. Prior Walgreens experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on the cash register and processes returns, refunds, exchanges.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, takes inventory, and maintains records.
• Implements Company asset protection procedures to minimize loss and protect assets.
• Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Constructs and maintains displays, including promotions and seasonal merchandising.
• Assists with separation of food items and product placement as directed.
• Has working knowledge of store systems and store equipment.
• Provides photo-area services such as passport photos and poster printing.
• Assumes web pick-up responsibilities and delivers orders to customers.
• Maintains exterior and interior store cleanliness and appearance.
• Completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
