Job summary

Walgreens is hiring a part-time associate to deliver exceptional customer service at the register and on the floor in Fontana, CA. You will greet customers, assist with product selection, and process purchases with accuracy while maintaining clean, well-merchandised aisles and following store policies.

You will support display setup, inventory, and photo services while adhering to asset protection procedures and local regulations. Prior retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous, friendly checkout service.
• Recommends items for sale and promotes trade-up and/or companion items.
• Maintains counters and shelves, takes inventory, and prices merchandise as directed.
• Implements asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
• Maintains compliance with state/local laws for regulated products (e.g., alcohol, tobacco).
• Constructs and maintains displays; completes resets and revisions as directed.
• Assists with stock rotation and proper product placement per policies.
• Provides customer service in photo area and supports web pickup responsibilities.
