Job summary

Dollar Tree in Woodside, NY is looking for a Customer Service Associate to help provide an excellent shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or service experience. You will work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 lbs, and interact with customers and team members in a friendly, professional manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, restrooms stocked, and areas neat and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned.
