Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Champlin, Minnesota is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist shoppers, manage sales transactions at the register, and help keep the store clean and presentable.

The ideal candidate has or will have a high school diploma, retail or service experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and coworkers.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
