Job summary

Dollar Tree in Lubbock, TX is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver friendly, efficient service at the register and on the sales floor.

You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions, stock shelves, unload merchandise, and help keep the store clean and inviting. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and team members.
• Maintain cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and store presentation.
