Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Lehighton, Pennsylvania is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to assist customers, answer questions, and process sales at the register.

You will keep the store stocked and clean, unload merchandise from trucks, stock shelves, and ensure a safe, friendly environment for customers and teammates.

A high school diploma is preferred with prior retail or service experience; lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
