Job summary

Dollar Tree in Lancaster, TX is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and keep the store neat and stocked.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep store stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash
• Other duties as assigned
