Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Gallipolis, OH to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, maintain stock, unload merchandise, and keep the store clean and organized.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, stocking, and ensuring a safe, friendly environment for customers and teammates. Part-time position with opportunities for growth and dependable team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
