Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. Duties include assisting customers with questions, processing transactions at the register, stocking shelves, and keeping the store clean and safe.

You will help unload trucks, replenish inventory, and participate in maintaining a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and prior customer service in retail or similar settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
