BoxLunch in Glendale, CA is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to deliver an exceptional in-store experience for fans of pop culture and Philanthropy. You will leverage product knowledge to assist customers, stock and replenish merchandise, and help merchandise the store in a visually appealing way, with a strong focus on the in-store experience.

You will cover the sales floor, process transactions, support planogram changes, and collaborate with the team to ensure a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a retail environment.
  • Superpowers in providing customer service and selling.
  • At least 16 years of age to join the fandom force.
  • Avenger-like collaboration and communication skills.
  • Able to handle store duties and merchandise products weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return, leveraging product knowledge and in-store customer service.
  • Cover the sales floor and keep areas visually up to standard.
  • Process sales transactions and drive add-on sales, including BOPIS and curbside pickup options; assist with planogram changes.
  • Share fashion trends and updates with management and HQ partners.
  • Maintain stock room and keep the store tidy; support team collaboration to complete tasks.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Store Leader.

Get some, give back! We're looking for pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. We're on the search for a Seasonal Sales Associate that will help lead our civic minded, pop culture driven brand. As a BoxLunch Seasonal Sales Associate, you'll be a huge part of our success by providing the best customer service, ensuring that fellow fans can get their hands on the merch they love. You'll share your fandom knowledge, stock and replenish products, and help merchandise the store in a visually appealing way, all while being hyper-focused on the in-store experience.

What You'll Do
  • Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return. They'll be impressed by your product knowledge, customer experience skills, and use of the Force
  • Cover the sales floor zone and ensure that assigned areas are up to visual standards
  • Work the register - you'll use your fandom knowledge to process sales transactions and drive add-on sales using additional benefits such as BOPIS and curbside pickup Assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixture, & merchandising mix
  • Let your voice be heard! You'll communicate fashion trend information to management and respective HQ partners
  • While we welcome wizards, we don't like it when spells are stolen. You'll work with Store Management to ensure there's no misuse of spells and wizardry around theft
  • Support the maintenance of the mother ship; you'll help keep the stock room organized and the store tidy
  • Smells like Team Spirit - you love communicating and working as a team to get the job done
  • Any other activities as assigned by your Store Leader
What You'll Need
  • Previous experience working in a retail environment. If you're passionate about philanthropy & all things pop culture, you're in the right place!
  • Superpowers in providing customer service and selling
  • You'll have to be at least 16 years of age to join the fandom force
  • Avenger-like collaboration and communication skills
  • The usual retail stuff (with or without reasonable accommodation): able to navigate your way around the store, merchandise product utilizing approved store equipment, and pack and unpack boxes of awesome merch that may weigh up to 50 pounds

$16.50 - $17 an hour

Please note the pay range for this position starts as listed in the job posting, but other factors such as an individual's education, location, meeting the minimum job requirements for the role, training and experience, will determine the final salary for potential new hires.
