Job Summary

Responsible for receiving merchandise, totaling bills, accepting payments, and making change in a retail setting. Essential duties include:

1. Stocking shelves and displays with merchandise.
2. Setting up advertising displays and arranging merchandise to promote sales.
3. Tagging merchandise with prices.
4. Assisting customers in obtaining or selecting merchandise.
5. Answering questions about products.
6. Interacting with customers and resolving complaints professionally.
7. Wrapping and bagging merchandise.
8. Calculating totals, taxes, and final bills.
9. Accepting payments and providing change.
10. Recording cash in register at end of shift.
11. Keeping sales records, managing inventory, and ordering merchandise.
12. Following sanitation, ServSafe, and safety standards.
13. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
14. Performing other duties as assigned.
