Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Controller to join our San Diego team. Working closely with Project Managers and clients, you'll play a key role in construction document administration, project reporting, financial management, governance, and successful project delivery.

Attention to detail, strong communication, and responsiveness are essential for success in this role. Base salary range cited in posting is $80K-$90K with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or a field related to construction.
• A minimum of 2 years of applicable experience.
• Proactive, organized, and thorough with a strong work ethic.
• Collaborative team member able to deliver projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager to ensure project quality standards and on-time delivery.
• Help establish governance, processes, and systems across the project.
• Ensure information is shared and retained effectively.
• Build strong client and team relationships.
• Interface with stakeholders including executive management and vendors.
• Support project information flow between team members.
• Attend status meetings and update action logs.
• Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress.
• Contribute to monthly reporting and dashboards.
• Assist with proposals for new or revised projects.
• SOX control responsibilities may apply.
• Develop and monitor budgets and cost models in high-tech retail environment.
