Job summary

Meijer is seeking entry-level team members to support store operations and customer service. You will gain exposure to retail tasks including cart movement, cleaning, and handling returns with a focus on above-and-beyond customer service.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen sense for details.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling product or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect trash from parking lot, lawn, and inside store areas.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for snow removal.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Work with departments such as Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
