Job summary

Colonial Group in Hillsboro, OH seeks a store clerk to perform cashiering, stocking and cleaning duties while delivering excellent customer service. The role reports to the store manager and works with shift leaders to maintain high store standards and safety.

Prior retail experience and basic math are helpful; you will handle cash and assist in training teammates. Must be 18+, read/write/speak English, and be flexible to work in other store areas as needed; a High School diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older and able to work shifts.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proven, efficient retail sales experience and excellent customer service preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English; basic math and cash handling skills required.
• Willingness to work in other areas of the store with little notice; adhere to safety and uniform dress code.

Responsibilities

• Operates a cash register efficiently and performs checkout procedures with accurate cash handling.
• Follows all checkout and cash handling procedures and policies.
• Stocks products and maintains clean, safe store conditions.
• Assists with unloading deliveries and rotates dated/undated products.
• Maintains price tags, displays per company guidelines and provides friendly customer service.
• Assists store management in training other team members and supports in other store areas as needed.
