Job Summary

The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers in making purchases, merchandising and display, handling transactions, and maintaining excellent customer service.

Compensation: $16.66 USD per hour

Essential Functions

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide product information.
• Describe and help locate merchandise.
• Compute sales, process payments, and issue receipts accurately.
• Maintain the cash register and sales area.
• Assist with special events and ensure safety procedures are followed.

Skills and Knowledge

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Mathematical skills and interest in Washington, DC landmarks are a plus.
• Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to pass cash handling training.

Physical and Mental Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
