Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proven, efficient retail sales experience; cash management and customer service preferred.
• Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English.
• Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, and basic computer skills.
• Dependable and flexible to work scheduled shifts, including other areas of the store as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards and uniform dress code.

Responsibilities

• Operates a cash register efficiently and completes checkout procedures with accurate handling of cash, EBT, debit/credit, and other payment methods.
• Follows checkout policies and ensures proper customer service.
• Maintains shelves and displays, rotates stock, and ensures price tags are accurate.
• Unloads deliveries and assists with stocking across grocery, meat, and perishables.
• Maintains clean, safe store conditions and proper safety practices.
• Assists store management in training other team members and provides helpful customer interactions.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other areas of the store.
