Job summary

Highgate Hotels at TradeWinds Island Resort in Saint Pete Beach, FL is seeking a Retail Clerk to join the on-site shops team. You will support guest service and sales at the resort, ensuring accurate transactions and a welcoming shopping experience for guests.

The position requires 1-2 years of retail experience, open weekend availability, and the stamina to stand for long periods. This hourly role offers a tropical resort work environment and opportunities to contribute to exceptional guest

Qualifications

• 1-2 years retail sales and service experience preferred.
• Outgoing, approachable, and Guest Service Oriented.
• Must have open availability as weekends and holidays are our busiest times.
• Proven ability to handle financial transactions accurately and quickly.
• Must be able to walk and stand for 8 hours or more.
• Safely lift and move objects weighing 60 lbs.-100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow established policies and procedures to ensure accurate checkout and cash handling.
• Assist guests with questions and product information in a friendly manner.
• Maintain clean, organized retail spaces and ensure stock is displayed properly.
• Process transactions efficiently and professionally to enhance guest experience.
