Introduction to Role

The Cashier and Retail Clerk is responsible for obtaining or receiving tickets and merchandise, totaling bills, accepting payments, and making change for customers in the retail store.

What You Will Work On

• Provide outstanding guest service, including greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining standards, and demonstrating product knowledge.
• Operate POS system accurately for transactions.
• Stock shelves and arrange merchandise to promote sales.
• Assist customers in locating and selecting merchandise.
• Answer customer questions regarding products.
• Calculate total prices, taxes, and process payments.
• Wrap or bag merchandise and record cash in register.
• Maintain an organized and clean showroom.
• Perform other duties as assigned and ensure reliable attendance.

Who You Will Work With

The role reports to the retail clerk shift lead and/or Guest Services Supervisor.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or current enrollment in a degree program.
• Previous retail experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for long periods.
• Ability to see, hear, and communicate effectively.
