North 40 Outfitters in Havre, MT is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to be the heartbeat of our Havre store. You’ll lead daily operations, drive guest experiences, and coach a small team to deliver outstanding service.

You’ll manage scheduling, inventory, and store standards while engaging with the local community to build trust and loyalty. This role requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and 50+ hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Sales experience, merchandising, and computer skills a plus

• Ability to delegate and assign tasks appropriately
• Skilled in leadership, sales generation, strategic planning, business acumen, time management and general retail software proficiency
• Willingness to relocate if needed
• Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques. Physical ability to lift and carry 0-15 lbs. continuously, 15-50 lbs. frequently, and 50-55 lbs. occasionally, and team lift anything over 55 lbs. Spending 100% of work time on your feet, including use of ladders, rolling staircases and pallet jacks.
