Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking a Sales Associate for our Corpus Christi, TX store. You will greet customers, operate the register, maintain a clean, safe shop, and help run daily operations to keep the store inviting.

You’ll become proficient in lottery, tobacco and alcohol sales while ensuring age verification and compliance. This role rewards reliability, teamwork, and flexibility, with opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to greet customers and upsell when appropriate.
• Will need to work weekends and holidays.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• English reading/writing/speaking skills required.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer and handle the register with accuracy and speed.
• Become knowledgeable in lottery, tobacco, and alcohol sales with age verification compliance.
• Provide friendly service and upsell when possible to increase sales.
• Keep store clean and safe, including bathrooms, lot, and pumps.
• Stock shelves and display merchandise; maintain a neat store.
• Cross-train in other departments, including deli, as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies; be a team player.
