About the Role

Mollie Stone's Market is seeking a part-time Apprentice Cashier at our Grand Central location. The ideal candidate is customer service-driven, flexible, and capable of handling various tasks daily.

Essential Functions

1. Processing sales at the register, scanning items accurately, and identifying produce items properly.
2. Bagging groceries and providing carry-out service if needed.
3. Retrieving baskets and carts for the store.
4. Performing cleanup and general housekeeping duties.
5. Providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with questions.
6. Maintaining knowledge of weekly ad items and guiding customers to product locations.
7. Restocking inventory, conducting price checks, and returning products to proper shelves.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Detail-oriented.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to learn new technology.
• Willingness to train and work in other store areas as needed.
• Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.

Standing

• Up to 8 hours per day.

Walking

• Up to 6 hours per day.

Reaching

• Up to 4 hours per day.

Note: PPE may be required as mandated by company policy.
