Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a friendly cashier to join our fast-paced store environment. You will provide fast, accurate checkout, help customers locate products, and keep the front-end area clean and welcoming. Training is provided, so no experience is required and growth opportunities are encouraged.

Qualifications

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answering questions about products and services.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register and complete customer transactions accurately.
• Provide fast, friendly, and helpful service to customers.
• Maintain cleanliness in the sales area, including aisles, shelves, and checking out customers.
• Assist with restocking and basic store upkeep as needed.
• Cross-train in other departments and support team as required.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
