Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring cashiers to deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service in a busy store environment. You may perform multiple duties as needed, with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction. Training is provided for those without prior experience.

We value flexibility, the ability to lift 25+ pounds, and comfort working in different temperatures while supporting daily store operations.

Qualifications

• General customer service duties including helping customers and answering questions.
• Balancing a cash register and driving sales while following laws.
• Maintaining food safety for deli and fresh foods.
• Keeping work area, sales floor and restrooms clean.
• Cross-training in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Maintenance, or leadership.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answer questions.
• Balancing a cash register and handling transactions.
• Safely handling food and ensuring proper deli and fresh food conditions.
• Cleaning the working area, sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and taking out trash.
• Potential cross-training in other departments and leadership activities.
• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
