Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is hiring cashiers to work in a fast-paced environment, keeping the store clean and serving customers with a friendly smile. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

You’ll handle transactions, assist customers, and support other departments as needed. Benefits include tuition assistance, PTO, 401(k) match, health insurance after 30 days, and opportunities for career development.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with locating items and answering questions.
• Balance cash register and process transactions.
• Promote additional sales opportunities.
• Ensure food safety and proper handling of deli products.
• Clean and maintain work area, sales floor, restrooms, and pumps.
• Cross-train in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, or maintenance.
• Move and lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

At Love’s, our cashiers work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places while having friendly faces. They provide fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers. They may perform various duties depending on business needs so flexibility and teamwork skills are important. No experience? No problem. We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
