Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring cashiers for a fast-paced retail environment. You will provide fast, friendly, and accurate service to customers, process transactions, and help locate items. No experience is required as training is provided.

• General customer service duties: help customers find items, answer questions about products and services, and address customer needs.
• Comfort with handling money and basic operational duties.

Responsibilities

• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities.
• Use various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Maintain cleanliness of the working area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, pumps, and perform trash runs.
• Cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Move, lift 25+ pounds and work in varied temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
