Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops in Missouri is seeking friendly cashiers for a fast-paced retail role. You will assist customers, handle cash transactions, and maintain clean, safe work areas across the store, deli, and fuel pumps.

No prior experience required; we provide on-the-job training. We value teamwork and flexibility, with opportunities for cross-training in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, and maintenance roles, plus competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find items and answer questions about products and services.
• Balance cash register and process transactions while promoting additional sales.
• Maintain food safety for fresh food and deli items using proper techniques.
• Clean working area, sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and perform trash runs.
