Job Description: Cashier at Love’s Travel Stops

Welcome to Love’s! Our cashiers work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean spaces and providing friendly, accurate service to customers. No experience? No problem—we will teach you! Flexibility and teamwork skills are important as duties may vary based on business needs.

Job Functions:

1. Perform general customer service duties, including helping customers find items, answering questions, and addressing needs.
2. Balance cash register, complete transactions, and identify additional sales opportunities while adhering to all laws.
3. Use various methods and technology to ensure proper food safety for our fresh food and deli products.
4. Maintain cleanliness of your work area, sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and handle trash.
5. Potential cross-training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
6. Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.
