Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores in Indianola, MS is seeking friendly cashiers to join our fast-paced team. You will provide fast, accurate service, answer customer questions, process transactions, and help maintain clean facilities.

Training is provided, and teamwork is essential to handle daily responsibilities across departments. We offer benefits, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for growth in a family-owned company with a long-standing track record of employee development.

Qualifications

• General customer service duties including assisting customers and answering questions.
• Balancing a cash register and completing transactions while following laws.
• Use of various methods/tech to ensure food safety for fresh foods.
• Able to move/lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find items and answer questions about products and services.
• Balance the cash drawer and encourage additional sales.
• Maintain cleanliness of the area, floor, restrooms, pumps, and trash runs.
• Assist across departments as needed and support teamwork.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
