Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking friendly cashiers to provide fast, accurate service to customers in a busy environment. Training will be provided, and teamwork is essential as duties span customer service, cash handling, and maintaining clean facilities.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answering questions.
• Balance a cash register and handle transactions, promoting add-on sales.
• Ensure food safety for fresh food and deli products using proper procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the assigned area, sales floor, restrooms, and pumps.
• Cross-training in related departments such as Restaurant Services and Facility Maintenance may occur.
• Work with flexibility across duties as needed.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
