Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking friendly cashiers to provide fast, accurate service in a busy retail environment. No experience? We will teach you and help you grow within a 60-year family-owned company.

Responsibilities include helping customers, handling transactions, and maintaining clean, safe spaces. We value teamwork, flexibility, and a positive attitude in this on-site role at our Florida location.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with items and answer questions about products and services.
• Balance cash register and process transactions accurately.
• Ensure proper handling of food safety for fresh and deli products.
• Maintain cleanliness of the working area, sales floor, restrooms, and pumps.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Restaurant Services or Facility Maintenance.
• Move and lift up to 25 pounds and work in varying temperatures.

They may perform various duties depending on business needs so flexibility and teamwork skills are important. No experience? No problem. We will teach you!

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.


• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws.


• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.


• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.


• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.


• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
