Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a cashier to join its team in a fast-paced environment, delivering friendly, accurate service and maintaining clean spaces. Training is provided for applicants with no experience, and employees benefit from tuition assistance, PTO, and flexible scheduling.

The role involves handling transactions, upselling, facilitating deli and fresh-food safety, and maintaining cleanliness across the sales floor and adjacent areas. Teamwork and adaptability are essential.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
