Job summary

Rockingham Cooperative is seeking a friendly Cashier to greet customers and process transactions at our Timberville location. You will provide superior service, answer questions, and help keep the sales area clean and stocked.

This full-time role reports to the Store Manager and requires a high school diploma and at least two years of customer service experience. You should communicate clearly, stay organized, and work well as part of a team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner and acknowledge them.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Assist customers, answer questions, and resolve complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Keep the sales area neat, stocked, priced, and displayed; assist in stocking and merchandising as needed.
• Attend store meetings and training to gain product knowledge and stay updated.
