Job summary

KwikFill in Medina, NY is seeking a Cashier/Attendant to run the store, assist customers, and process transactions with accuracy. You will greet customers, suggest merchandise, and operate cash registers while upholding health and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and may involve lifting up to 50 lbs, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. This is a full-time position with a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• POS/cash register experience helpful.
• Familiarity with general office equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Offer appropriate customer service.
• Greet all customers with a smile and hello.
• Suggest merchandise purchases to all customers.
• Learn and operate the cash register and additional required equipment with accuracy.
• Price, stock, and face merchandise; stocking includes gondolas, shelving, counters, walk-in coolers, upright coolers, and backroom storage.
• Manage product storage, maintenance and rotation to avoid damage or spoilage.
• Maintain the store according to maintenance policies and health department rules.
• Follow all security and safety policies and procedures.
• Account for shift and daily transactions.
• Always present a neat and clean appearance; wear required work dress code.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager or District Manager.
